PetCloud plays an important role in supporting NDIS Participants who have a love of pets to achieve positive outcomes and improve their physical and mental well-being.
There are 3 NDIS Funded Supports we offer in line with the goals in your NDIS Plan and your disabilities:
Ancillary Care during Hospital Treatment or Rehabilitation
This involves Home Visits to your home to feed and water pets, or, your pets will go and board at the home of a Support Worker.
Animal Assisted Mentoring in the Community
This consists of including an animal (your dog) to help you in accessing pet friendly locations in the community, learning new skills, new social interactions and communication.
Assistance with Pet related Household tasks
A Support Worker will visit your home to assist you with tasks you need support with.How it works

Where are you located?
- PetCloud has Support Workers nationally, Australia-wide.
Can I pay for Support using NDIS Funds?
- Yes, however, it depends on whether you have a current plan, on the goals in your plan, on your disabilities, and whether you have enough budget to pay for the supports. Please contact our Booking Coordinator to discuss: ndis@petcloud.com.au
What is the benefit of booking a Support Worker with PetCloud?
- We have quality safeguards in place. Our Support Workers are trained in NDIS orientation, are police checked, and are insured.
What if I don’t have a dog?
- We may be able to assist by finding a Support Worker with a dog of their own. We prefer to work with yours.
What Assistance at Home can I get?
- Kitty Litter changes
- Backyard poo patrol
- Pet washing
- Pet feeding
- Assistance with brushing, fur clipping, and dematting
- Driving your pet to the Vet
Can you bring my pet to visit me while I’m in hospital?
- We’ll work within the rules of your hospital and will try our best to make that happen if that is something that is possible.

He got on famously with the other dog being sat, was walked twice and I think was thoroughly exhausted by his new (more junior) friends Rosie and Nora!
